Application:-

The active isolation amplifier of the series TVA is used, dependent on version,
for galvanic isolation of electrical standard signals 0..10V / 0..1V / -5..+5V /-0,5..+0,5V / 0..20mA / 4..20mA / -10..+10mA

or a pulse frequency modulated (PFM) current signal 90…520Hz or for convert it into another standard
signal or to adjust the signals in the zero value and/or end value resp. amplification.

Input signals:-
• Direct voltage 0…10V / 0…1V / -5…+5V / -0,5…+0,5V.
• Direct current 0…20mA / 4…20mA / -10…+10mA/
• Pulse frequency modulated (PFM) current signal 90…520Hz.

Output signals
• Direct voltage 0…10V / 2…10V – simultaneous outputs.
• Direct current 0…20mA / 4…20mA – simultaneous outputs.

At error-producing ground loops, unwanted signal overlapping, and other issues, galvanic separation is occasionally the only option.
This prevents the signal from being distorted by current flow between additional signal current circuits.
The free customizable or fixed signal conversion, depending on the version, enables flexible system integration, 
such as when connecting 2-wire-measurand transducer with current signal of 4…20 mA to the input of an SPS control.

The adjustable version is suitable for zero value adjustment of a fixed adjusted measurand transducer, for example,

due to position dependent zero value shifting, or if sections, for example, 5…14mA of a standard signal 4…20mA

at the input should be amplified to a complete standard signal, for example, 4…20mA.

Two electrical signals can be transmitted simultaneously separately in one device at the versions TVA – 200 – U0 and TVA – 220 – U0,

or one electrical standard signal can be doubled into two separate electrical standard signals by a parallel or series connection.

Long transmission lines of several 1000 m are best served by the signal input for pulse frequency modulated (PFM) current signals 90–520 Hz in conjunction with the appropriate measurand transducer or signaling transmitter. The unique signal type renders it insensitive to the unfavorable traits of

cables, such as e.g., resistance and inductivity as well as error current via the isolation, that only happen at longer lengths.
