Depending on the model selected, local notice of the alarm situation is provided by audio and visual alerts, and remote indication or control is provided by an internal switch to stop additional water buildup. The Model WD3-BP-D1-A is battery-powered for use in situations where power is not available. Alternatively, the water detector can be powered by either AC or DC supply voltages. By using the provided adjustable mounting bracket, the sensing height can be reduced to as little as 1/32". The mounting bracket can be fastened to any flat surface using either the mounting screws or the connected adhesive strips.
