LEUZE CONTRAST SENSORS:
Leuze Contrast sensors detect and compare contrasts using various light sources such as white light, laser-generated red light, or RGB light. With little signal jitter, the identified contrasts markings are then reported to the process. Various color or gray value combinations can be reliably identified by automatically selecting the appropriate transmitter colors. Bar graph indications make it easier to make adjustments during manual setup.
Contrast sensors scan an object for a specified marker that differs in color from the rest of the background only slightly. These contrast indicators must be reliably identified on film, bag and blister packaging, or labels in numerous packaging processes.
The KRT 18B series contrast sensors combine ease of use with great performance thanks to persistent signal indicators. In addition to our existing versions with RGB light sources, contrast sensors with white light are now available, adding another teach choice to our product line. They allow quick and easy adjustment via potentiometer or teach button, remote adjustment via cable or IO-Link, and a distinctive bar graph indicator that provides continuous feedback on contrast quality.
