General-purpose Threaded Capacitive Sensor
Omron’s E2K-X capacitive proximity sensors permit non-contact detection of both metallic and non-metallic objects, seamlessly identifying glass, wood, water, oil, and plastic. Because they feature a fixed sensing distance, they require zero sensitivity adjustments for a quick, “plug-and-play” setup.
E2K-X sensors are enclosed in a rugged, heat-resistant ABS cylindrical housing with a threaded barrel design. Available in M12, M18, and M30 models, these sensors can be mounted securely in a wide variety of standard, everyday factory automation environments.
