The Allen-Bradley 1746-NIO4I is a single-slot analog combination module designed for the SLC 500 series, featuring two analog inputs and two analog outputs. Operating with a common-mode voltage range of -20 to 20 V, the unit provides effective signal noise filtering with a common-mode rejection ratio of 105 dB and a normal-mode rejection ratio of 55 dB, both measured at 60 Hz.
Power is drawn directly from the SLC 500 backplane, requiring 55 mA at 5 V DC and 145 mA at 24 V DC. Unlike comparable modules that support external power configurations, the 1746-NIO4I relies strictly on backplane power for operation.
