Capacitive proximity sensors can detect all types of material: powder-based, granulated, liquid, and solid—even through plastic walls. Omron’s capacitive proximity sensors feature a separate amplifier architecture, which separates the processing electronics from the sensor head to eliminate weight on moving axes and ensure stable detection without signal distortion.
E2J sensors feature an ultra-thin, flat housing that is suitable for all manner of installation conditions on robotic hands, compact grippers, and space-restricted pick-and-place mechanisms.
