The OPTIFLUX 2300 is designed for precise and reliable flow measurement of conductive liquids in various industrial applications.
An electromagnetic flowmeter (EMF) for all demanding water and wastewater applications is the OPTIFLUX 2300.
The high-end meter is best suited for uses that need high precision and in-depth diagnostics.
The EMF conforms with custody transfer regulations and offers the broadest diameter range on the market (DN25…3000/ 1…120″). (MID MI-001, OIML R49). According to OIML R49 accuracy class 1, the flowmeter enables custody transfer (CT) measurement without inlet/outlet runs (0D/0D).
It has a variety of potable water approvals. Because of this, the OPTIFLUX 2300 is a good substitute for mechanical water meters, especially when measuring potable water using CT. A proprietary “virtual reference” option on the OPTIFLUX 2300 enables a measuring mode even without an additional grounding ring. This makes it possible to save a lot of money on installation and purchasing costs. The IP68 / NEMA 6P-rated version can be installed in measuring chambers that are regularly flooded. Many digital communication options are available with the OPTIFLUX 2300.
With the OPTICHECK service tool, the EMF may be fully verified on-site without interrupting the process.
Features & Options-
- Bi-directional flow measurement over a wide dynamic range (turn down ratio: up to 1000:1).
- No inlet/outlet runs are needed for OIML R49 class 1 accuracy.
- Widest diameter range available in the market.
- Available with patented reference electrode: cost-saving installation without grounding rings.
- PP or hard rubber liner: excellent chemical resistance.
- Optional for burial installation and constant flooding (IP68).
- Largest custody transfer approved diameter range.
- Tamper proof.
- Standard measurement accuracy: ±0.2% or ±1mm/s of measured value (MV).
- Extensive sensor and process diagnostics (incl. NE 107).
- Meets potable water standards: ACS, DVGW, NSF, TZW, KTW, WRAS, KIWA, etc.
