Description
Burkert Mass flow controller (MFC)/mass flowmeter (MFM)
The Type 8756 mass flow controller (MFC)/mass flow meter (MFM) is especially well suited for the extremely accurate measurement or
control of small liquid amounts that also call for a medium-separated sensor.
The Coriolis effect serves as the foundation for the sensor’s measuring principle, which is totally independent of the medium.
Deviations in pressure and temperature have no effect on the measurement’s accuracy. The density and temperature of the liquid are also measured in addition to the flow rate. When the process conditions vary, the device’s architecture offers a zero-point adjustment-free, stable flow measurement that is impervious to external influences. The medium is very resistant to any materials that come into touch with it, allowing for usage with a variety of liquids, whether they are aggressive or neutral media.
The variations MFM, MFC with an interface for a modular actuator, MFC with an integrated proportional valve, and MFC with an
integrated micro annular gear pump are all available for the Type 8756. Self-priming and hermetically sealed, the high-precision pump has a gap in contact with the medium. It produces incredibly low pulsations and gives a very wide control range.
Liquids that need to be transported from an unpressurized container are controlled or dosed using this variation.
